Force password change in Moodle and Joomla #1
I am using joomdle with a website in Joomla and another (sub domain) with Moodle
In the sale of the course I am using a transparent checkout system that when confirming the payment through an API (joomla plugin) inserts the Student in the joomla (Student category) and in the Moodle course.
Problem
I need that both in joomla and Moodle users are required to reset the password on first access
In joomla I got it through a plugin (forcepasswordreset from eclent.com), but in Moodle I don't know how.
Suggestions received
They suggested to change a table in the Moodle Database (user_preferences) more precisely the field auth_forcepasswordchange = 1. It does not seem to me to be a definitive solution, as it would be necessary to do it with each registration in the course
I appreciate any help

Force password change in Moodle and Joomla #2
Hi.

I am not sure when you want to force users to change their password. Is it on first site access? But they already accessed to buy the course, right?

If you have solved it in Joomla, you can set all logins to be in Joomla, and not use Moodle login page:
