Hi Wynand.
After the change, you should visit Joomdle->System check to see if everything is working.
In this case, what happens is that XMLRPC is not available for PHP8, so you should change your configuration to use REST instead.

Thanks, Antonio. I thought as much. Will set to REST.
Completed both Moodle and Joomla to now show webservice as Rest.
When I log in with a client I get the following on login: "The temporary file isn't there for CURL!"
When I refresh the page it displays the content but with the following message: "You don't have permission to access this. Please contact a website administrator if this is incorrect."

Antonio, yes they are all green.
I have also cleared the cache of the browser and the domain in Joomla admin.
Stil get the same issue, when I login as a user.

Hi.
I think this message means that the file could not be created.
I had this same issue today when migrating a Joomdle installation to a new server, and I could investigate: turned out I had forgotten to update the tmp and log path in Joomla global config to use the new ones.
So, you can check that just in case.
I will try tomorrow to modify the plugin to do some more checks to provide a better error message. I can then send it to you to see if it helps.
