Kunena Forums Integration Not Working was created by Garrett
Hello,
The Kunena Forums integration does not seem to be working. I have followed the steps in the docs here: www.joomdle.com/wiki/Kunena

Step 1: Create/select the parent Teachers and Students group - DONE
Step 2: Enable "Use Kunena forums" - Done
Step 3: Select a parent category for the course forums - Done
Step 4: Enable "Use Joomla user groups" and "Use Kunena forums" in Moodle - Done

ISSUE: I create a forum in a Moodle course, create a post and nothing is showing up in Kunena Forums.

Joomla: 5.1.4
Joomdle: 2.3.1
Kunena forums: 6.3.5

I checked the "Run Diagnostics" tool for Kunena forums and it all passed.
I checked the "System Check" for Joomdle and it all passed.

Let me know if I am missing a step. I have added photos of the steps I followed.

Also, the docs do not describe this how Moodle will point back to Kunena.

It says:
"Then, on the Joomdle course view, you can set it to link to Kunena instead of Moodle forums."

Is this a setting inside the Moodle Forum Activity?

Thanks

Hi.

Kunena integration is not meant to work as you describe.

It is only meant to be used when you are not using Moodle to show the courses to the students, but instead you use the Joomdle course view.
www.joomdle.com/wiki/Course_Specific_Views#Course_Contents

>"Then, on the Joomdle course view, you can set it to link to Kunena instead of Moodle forums."
>Is this a setting inside the Moodle Forum Activity?

No, this is a setting in the Joomdle configuration, Integrations tab.

I don't think this is used by many people (the course view) and I never liked it much, so it might even be removed completely in the future.
