[Solved] Error when adding a Joomdle menu item

so i tried to install it through the extension manager and it gave me the following error...

Error! Could not find an XML setup file in the package.

any ideas?

Just unistall the component and install new one.
Maybe you need to re-save menu items for SEF, as described in other post.

i uninstalled the old one, but still get the same "unable to find install package" error when i try to install the updated package you attached.

I am also getting the router.php error while adding joomdle menu. I am unable to download given attachment " com_joomdle.zip" as it is missing. Please help.

Sorry, that was a testing only package. You will have to wait for version 0.23 for SEF support.
In the meantime, disable SEF in Joomla to get it working.
