I need help please was created by Benson Folajin
I am helping a friend install moodle. Never used joomla before!
-I installed joomla, next moodle.

-I have not created any users, nor courses.

-I could login successfully into moodle admin and joomla admin.

-In joomla, when I enable the "Joomdle My Courses" or Joomdle Courses modules (any of the 2), clean the cache and load the front page, I get a blank page!

- Lastly I dared to enable the courses modules in joomla, entered the alternative login url from moodle and guess what, now I'm redirected each time to joomla login interface which is blank!
Have I shot myself? Now I can only disable the "Joomdle My Courses" or Joomdle Courses modules again from joomla admin and revert to point 0.

Any help on this matter? Please.

Hi, if you get blank pages, the most common problem is that you don't have installed/activated the PHP XML-RPC extensions.
To check, visit your PHP info page under Joomla Administrator and look for a block called xml-rpc.

No block with such name as xml-rpc can be found let alone enabling it. How do I install it? Please be specific. Thank you.

Hi there,

I believe Antonio is referring to the Joomla plug-in found under the "Plugin Manager" in Extensions. You will see a plugin called "XML-RPC-Joomdle". Make sure this is enabled. There is another called "XML-RPC - Services for Mooodle Integration" but I do not know the difference between the two. Try enabling both and report back. I am sure once Antonio side of the world awakens he will see this and comment on this :)

No, his problem is just that he does not have XML-RPC PHP extension installed.

linkdle: how to enable depends or your setup:
- If you are on hosted enviroment, add your provider to install XML-RPC PHP extension
- If you are on localhost, install the XML-RPC PHP Extension (details depend on your platform)
