[Solved] Joomdle does not work in firefox properly was created by Shyam
Hello,
I have installed joomdle as per guidelines, everything is working good in IE but it fails to do in firefox. In firefox if logged in user clicks on his/her own moodle courses he goes to moodle login page instead of his courses directly. Moreover moodle login page does not allow user to enter into the courses with joomla password. Please help me.

That is very strange as I only use Firefox (and galeon and seamonkey to tedt) myself :)

Are you working with version 0.22? Did you enable the joomdlehooks plugin? Can I see the site?

As everything is done server-side, it is really annoying that it works for you in one browser and not the other.

Thanks for reply, my site is " www.eduburg.com " I have installed 0.22 version and enabled joomdlehooks too. Please check.

I does not work for me. But, are you sure it works in IE? What is the process you do?
No one ever had any problems with firefox, and not IE...

Did you configure the urls in joomla xmlrpc and joomdlehooks plugins and in Moodle auth plugin?

I am on Linux so I cannot test with IE.

Yes it is working in IE as expected, yes I configured urls in joomdlehooks plugins for moodle as eduburg.com/test and in moodle auth as eduburg.com

And the xmlrpc plugin too?
Please enable and configure it if not.

I made a friend test on IE and the joomdlehooks works ok.
I want to know if the xmlrpc works only on ie too so we can better diagnose the problem.

I have enabled xmlrpc plugin too but there is no parameter to change in xmlrpc in joomla. However it is working fine on IE.

Hi again.
I think I found the problem: it's a www - without-www issue.

If you are using www, configure everything with www. And if not, everything without it.

Just tested:
-login in www.eduburg.com/
- went to eduburg.com/test and I was logged

www.site.com and site.com are different domain, so different sessions apply.
