[Solved] XML-RPC problem #11
Hi Antonio,
thank you for your answer.

The problem width the empty page occured because the plugin in joomla was set to special (rights).
Sorry, my fault.

-Yes, when i click on a link as a guest, the login page of moodle opens.

-When i'm logged in in Joomla and click on the module link, also the login page of moodle opens.
It seems that autologin doesn't work anyway.

Is it because of the missing joomdle_dummy... table?
I can't find it in my moodle database.

Greetz,
Marc

Edit: Now my confusion is perfect!
The testusers i registered on my joomla side are also (automatic)registered users in moodle.
So everything seems to work!
But why does the autologin not work, it makes me crazy, aaahhhh... :lol:

Hi.

I don't know if I understand you right. You mean:
- You created user only in Joomla
- User was created automatically in Moodle
- SSO using module links does not work

I don't know how this is possible, as the user are created in Moodle the first time they log in from Joomla...
Ah! maybe it is a domain problem? Check that there is no www/without-www confussion, as this is exactly the behaviour you would get. Everything should have the same domain set in configuration (check that inside moodle links point to the correct domain).

[Solved] XML-RPC problem #14
Hello Antonio,
everything works now.(YES WE CAN!)

It was a www/without-www confussion problem.
Set all the characters to the same Domain-syntax fixed it.

Thank you for your help.

By the way:
As i read in another topic you are working to integrade moodel as a wrapper in joomla.

Is it possible to configure the link of the modules that they open in a new browser tab(_blank).
Right now, clicking a module link it opens moodle in the same window (_self) and the mainpage is closing.

Perhaps an extension(what kind of?) in the default.php folder of the module?

Greetz,
Marc

Hi. Great to hear that everything is working :)

About your suggestion, I think is a great one. I think the best way to do it is to add an option to the module to control link opening. I write it down for next release, thanks!

If you want to change it right now you would only need to modify default.php in tmpl/ to add the target property to the link. Ask me if you have any problems.

[Solved] XML-RPC problem #16
Hi Antonio,
can you please help me to make the "target:_blank" work.

I think you mean this part of the default.php:

if ($username)
echo "<a href=\"".$moodle_auth_land_url."?username=$username&token=$token&wantsurl=/course/view.php%3Fid%3D$id\">".$curso."</a><br>";
else
echo "<a href=\"".$moodle_url."/course/view.php?id=$id\">".$curso."</a><br>";

But what must i put in and where?

Greetz,
Marc

Hi,

Just add target=\"_blank\" in the <a tags..

f ($username)
echo "<a href=\"".$moodle_auth_land_url."?username=$username&token=$token&wantsurl=/course/view.php%3Fid%3D$id\" target=\"_blank\" >".$curso."</a><br>";
else
echo "<a href=\"".$moodle_url."/course/view.php?id=$id\" target=\"_blank\">".$curso."</a><br>";

must work
