[Solved] mod_joomdle_my_courses not visible was created by Michael Bond
I've been working with Joomdle and it looks really cool. However I've run into an issue where I cannot seem to get the My Courses module to show a course for which I have registered in Moodle. In fact the module does not show at all.

So far, everything else that I have tried seems to be working. (However I'm looking forward to the SEO compatible version when it's ready.) For this issue I cannot seem to find the solution.

I did the following for my test:

1. I created a user in Joomla and it automatically created the same user in Moodle.

2. Using an admin account in Moodle I assigned my test user a course. I know that my test user is enrolled in the course because I can see it when I login to Joomla and click through into Moodle.

3. I added a new module named "My Courses" in Joomla using mod_joomdle_my_courses. In module manager I added the Moodle URL to mod_joomdle_my_courses. (Is this supposed to go to the root for Moodle? That's where I put it.) The module is enabled.

4. When I login to Joomla with my test user the My Courses module is invisible. If I change the Moodle URL in mod_joomdle_my_courses to something else (the wrong URL), the module title and block is visible in Joomla and I get an error message. So I know the module is enabled.

Any suggestions for what i should look for to troubleshoot this issue?

I am using:
- Joomla 1.5.15
- Moodle 1.9.7
- Joomdle 0.22

Thanks!

Michael

Nevermind. I figured out that the reason I could not see the course is because I enrolled my test user as an administrator, not a student. Once I fixed that then the My Courses module was visible and everything is great.

Thanks.
