Just another update, I created a new test course, it also prompts me same thing, that a user needs to login first. I have PM you my site information, please see if you can assist me here.

Actually, you are logging in correctly with a guest account. The problem you are having is not about login but rather permissions to a quiz ....
Now as it relates to Quizzes, what you are trying to do is not supported in Moodle - you can see the explanation here
docs.moodle.org/en/Quiz_FAQ
There has been discussions about this becoming available in Moodle version 2.0 but I am not sure if it made it into 2.0 yet.
Alternative methods:
- embed a Flash based (or html form) quiz in a html document in Moodle
- create a quiz in Joomla for the free course
- create a temporary userid in moodle for each new guest such as guestdatetimestamp which logs into moodle without the user knowing
- ask the user for their email so you can mail something for free then proceed to use the email as the login and auto login (this would be good for marketing purposes too)

Hey Chris,
I have actually made an alternative plan with the quiz.
I used another quiz component for Joomla itself, and just made the quiz there. Was not actually worth all the effort. I do sincerely appreciate the assistance you provided. Hopefully it will assist the next chap having the same issue.
If you still curious to see what I did, you can check it here.
