Course List Module was created by Brian Cunningham
When using the course list module in our main education page which uses a template other than the default template, the listed courses present the default template not the originating template. The originating template is also the one defined in the Joodmle component as default.
Is there a work around for this?

Thanks
Brian

Thanks,I think I understand the problem better.
But I don't see the courses module published in the course list page.

The entire Black Board Graphic is a background image for the Course List Module. It lives only on the Spa i University Home (menu type = Section Blog) Page. Does it need be be on the Course list page as well? That would be a bit redundant.

Really nice!
Now I can replicate the problem you describe, and I see the behaviour you report.
I tried to replicate it locally, and it turns out it only appears with SEF enabled. With it set to off, it works as expected.
I will take a look at it when I have the time, although I am no expert in templates nor SEF

It looks to me like module should have an option to set the itemid in the same way that setting menus and the component do. That way the module could be placed on the home page and still have it call the proper item id.
But I'm no coder so what the heck do I know

Don't worry about that. Brainstorming always help
I think what you say make sense, indeed. What I don't know is what happens with other modules (loke latestnews or anything like that)...will need to check if the work ok, and if so, how they do it.
Will keep you informed on what I find out.
