That is correct. I double checked to be sure all options are set to default. Deleted server cache just to be safe.
The flow is as depicted above. Would you like a Guest admin U: and P: ?

I create a menu item of "my courses" type (leaving all options to default), and assign a template to it. When I click on any courses, template is kept.

Hi.
I took a look, and saw your problem live. Still don't know why is happening, though, as I would need more deubugging to know what is going on.
Are you sure you left every option in "my courses" menu item left to blank?
This link won't work well:
www.spaclique.com/index.php?option=com_j...&id=15&Itemid=201049
Which is itemid 201049 and why it appears?
- If is the itemid for my courses page, I can't understand, as it should keep template
- If is not, where is this coming from?
Edit:
Sorry, sent before finish.
This link work OK (modified by hand):
www.spaclique.com/index.php?option=com_j...&id=15&Itemid=201081
Notice the change in itemid

 I have no idea where 201049 came from or why I entered it as the default itemid in Joomdle. Problem solved
But now another issue. When browsing the course Listing page (not My Courses) Joomdle does not seem to recognize when a user is already registered for a course and offers to sell it to them again. Am I seeing this correctly?

Good to hear it is sorted out.
As for the new issue: you are right, this problem is already reported in the feature requests forum.
We will add it for a future release.
