[Solved] Joomla URL seems misconfigured in Joomdle

Hi

I have installed joomdle and moodle over the past few days and I have had no installation problems or errors. I have followed the installation instructions but when I do the system check it gives me the error

'Joomla URL seems to be misconfigured in Joomdle auth plugin in Moodle'
under Joomdle Web Services

The URL in joomdle for moodle is learn.domain.org
The URL in moodle for joomdle is beta.domain.org

Running on a linux shared host

Please help, think I'm about to lose the plot, have tried so many different ways to input a URL but no luck

Hi there, I went to both of your domains and it does not appear that learn.domain.org is a moodle site? Am I correct or have you done some customisation to the design?

Sorry I should have made it clear those were examples.
The actual moodle is under learn.svgpuk.org

I am having the same issue, though I am trying to currently set it all up on localhost.
I have tried setting the URL to "/" and "http://localhost:8888" and "http://localhost:8888/" all with no luck.

Any ideas?

Yes, I am also facing the same problem on localhost with EasyPHP . But its working fine with XAMPP localhost.

Hinzt: I think you problem may be related to your "domain redirection".

Just use svgpuk.org/learn/ instead of the redirected domains.

I have now removed sub-domain/redirection for both moodle and joomla.
So in url in joomla now reads svgpuk.org/learn and moodle reads svgpuk.org/beta

But I still receive the same error

Anything else I can try?

I notice you have http auth enabled. Joomdle can't work with it.
