Joomdle Web services joomla url not correct was created by William
HI
Hi guys. Installed joomla and moodle on debian based system. Both are running fine independently. Installed joomdle but have what seems like a common problem of "Joomla URL seems to be misconfigured in Joomdle auth plugin in Moodle" under system check on Joomla side.
both are running on localhost one /joomla and the other /moodle
Networking is enabled in MOodle
IP 127.0.0.1/32 is listed.
Not sure if it is an xml-rpc prob this is the output of http://localhost/joomla/xmlrpc/index.php
−
<methodResponse>
−
<fault>
−
<value>
−
<struct>
−
<member>
<name>faultCode</name>
−
<value>
<int>105</int>
</value>
</member>
−
<member>
<name>faultString</name>
−
<value>
−
<string>
XML error: Invalid document end at line 1, column 1
</string>
</value>
</member>
</struct>
</value>
</fault>
</methodResponse>
IS this normal?
I can manually add the users from joomla by clicking on "add users to moodle" but this should be automatic?
Thanks
Will

Hi.
XMLRPC seems OK.
What do you have as Joomla URL in Moodle config?

Yes I did.
Did you see my edit earlier? I can add them to Moodle by clicking the add users in joomdle on joomla side. Is it usual to have them listed as X X. How can I change that?

You need to fix the error in system check before continuing.

Can you please explain where HTTP auth is located. I believe this was the solution to this problem from a previous post.
Is it in Moodle, Joomla, or php settings?

Http auth is not set up, unless yo did so. And I really doubt you have it in localhost, so I don't think is the issue.
