Changing the name of the zip file should have no impact.
Since you tried renaming joomdle-joomla-package.zip, this would suggest that you unzipped the original joomdle download. If you are getting this error message, you may wish to try using ftp, or your control panel file manager, to upload the joomdle install file to your joomla tmp directory. unzip the file and install from the directory.
