joomdle system health fails was created by yannis
hi im new to joomdle..so here is my problem.
i installed a joomla 1.5.22 site and a moodle 2 on my localhost using MAMP(which i downloaded from the moodle site so it has xmlrpc enabled)
im following the installation procedure and when im doing a system health in joomdle i get the
Safari can’t open the page “http://localhost:8888/alex/administrator/index.php?option=com_joomdle&view=check” because the server unexpectedly dropped the connection. This sometimes occurs when the server is busy. Wait for a few minutes, and then try again.
i have done the whole instalation also on my server and it connected properly so what might be the problem?

Hi.
Don't know what can be happening.
First, let me say that no one here has reported to get Joomdle working on MAMP (I never tried, so I don't know if it can be done)
You can try another browser to see if it gives some more info, because this error does not tell anything

it seems like your server is configured to not show errors, and the PHP is dying without notice.
You could look at the error logs of Apache to see if there is some hint there...

Never saw something like that, it seems like it really crashed the server thread, not the php script...
It seems related to xmlrpc,so I would guess again that MAMP does not work with Joomdle, or at least not out of the box.
Maybe you could try to post your error on the MAMP forums, in case someone know what happens.
