[Solved] 0.51 - No Auto create Moodle users was created by Ken Lyle
Hi, I just installed 0.51 with Moodle 2.0x. Thanks for the great docs...just excellent.
I have Auto create Moodle users set to Yes, but it's not working, even after those accounts are validated by clicking the confirmation email. Manual sync works perfectly without errors, and users can then log into Moodle with the synced information.
Thanks!

Hi.
I guess your system check is showing all ok.
Did you set any profile types integration? If you did, and did not check the profiles you want to be created, it will not create any users.

Thanks, Antonio! And "nice hat!"
My System Check is all greens.
My issue is that I am experienced with Joomla, but noobish with most of the other components in play. So, I had picked JomSocial 2.x in the profile type dropdown main Joomdle config page, but had not *actually set up* any JS Profile Types, let alone activated them to actually be created in Moodle. Ooops. Since fixed.
Anyway, noob error, right? And I probably missed it in a Doc file somewhere.
But, is it possible that you can have some set of status checks that would detect obvious bonehead issues like this? For example, I had the author of an e-commerce system once add a warning if no payment gateways were active...a fatal flaw in that situation. I love systems that are self-documenting that way. Moodle at one point told me that I couldn't do one of the steps, because there was another thing I had to do, and it provided me a link, which was sweet.
Thanks for doing this integration!
Best,
K

You are right, it may be good to have a warning in that case. I will put it in my todo list.
Thanks for the suggestion!
