0.52 not working but can't downgrade was created by Reuben
HI, I tried upgrading to 0.52 from 0.51 but now I'm getting an error "Joomla URL seems to be misconfigured in Joomdle auth plugin in Moodle" in the system check and it does not create users correctly nor login etc.

I tried to downgrade back to 0.51 but I'm having problems in Moodle. I am getting the following error when I try to add functions to the web service:
"Coding error detected, it must be fixed by a programmer: Missing implementation method of joomdle_helpers_external::quiz_get_answers"

I uninstalled 0.52 from joomla, and then reinstalled 0.51. I think the problem is with Moodle 2. I don't think the prescribed method of uninstallation works.
I removed the joomdle folder from the auth directory in moodle and then went to notifications as admin, then I uploaded the 0.51 joomdle folder to the auth directory and revisted notifications. Both times nothing was displayed in the notifications area.

Cheers
Reuben

I guess you are receiving an error on downgrade because you still have all the 0.52 functions added, and you don't have their implementation (of the new functions).

Anyway, I would forget about R0.51 and try to make 0.52 work, as it fixes several bugs.

Check that you have entered url starting with http:// and that they are correct (copy and paste them again, just in case)

Thanks, however if I wanted to uninstall joomdle from moodle completely would it be as easy as searching the mysql database for all records of joomdle and deleting them? or would some sort of script be necessary?
Cheers

I have the same error "Joomla URL seems to be misconfigured in Joomdle auth plugin in Moodle" in the system check" But it stated before the 0.52 upgrade (I had reinstalled 0.51 twice before upgrading) and the error continues after the upgrade.

I have changed (copy / pasted) the URL various times and still shows the error in system health.

sabretoothnz: you just need to unistall the packages.

If you want, you can also delete the jos_joomdle_* tables.

webmark: try 0.52, which improves error reporting in system check.
