Problems with iframe window size and popup within iframe was created by Eric Hartley
I have Joomdle 0.51 working with Joomla 1.5.22 and Moodle 2.0.3. With the setting of: autoheight wrapper on, wrapper height 1000 and scrollbars set to auto, everything works fine expect for one instance on the assignment upload screen. Two problems occur here:
1. At the upload screen, a vertical scroll bar is appearing the wrapper is not sizing correctly and cutting off the bottom of the moodle screen (see screenshot 1). Surely with scrollbar set to auto and autoheight, this shouldn't be here.
2. More seriously, when you open the file picker popup - which by default opens within the iframe - because of the reduced size of the iframe it isn't visible (see screenshot 2). Does anybody know how to get this to open outside the iframe (I have tried modifying the filepicker.js code in moodle but have been unable to get it to work!)
I have tried changing all the setting to every variation but can't solve this. Strangely, when I turn autoheight off, and/or turn scrollbars on an off (both in the main configuration as well as the individual menu item setting) this makes no difference - autoheight continues to function.
Help! Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug somewhere?
Thanks very much!
Eric

Hi there,
I will need to test this in our environment to see if we have a similar behaviour to respond to you properly. I will need a few days before I can have a look however.
Do let me know if you resolve this or have updates so that I can alter my testing to suite your updates.

Thanks for the response Chris.
Sadly I have no updates or solutions to report - I have run out of ideas at the moment, and would greatly value your input!
Fingers crossed
Eric

Hi there,
Unfortunately, no magical solution for you.
I built a new system with the latest Joomla 1.5, Joomdle R0.54 and Moodle 2.0.3 and all works as expected with the file picker within the defined areas.
The only way I could replicate your issue is when I shrunk my screen resolution right down to less than the width required ie less than 800 wide. On a normal 1024 (or bigger) I had no problem. What is your screen resolution? What browsers and versions?
Whether this is a bug or not, I cannot say as we are not using R0.51 any more. You may want to try R0.54 on your test system to see if you get the same experience.

Thanks for this. Screen resolution isn't an issue - I'm working on 1280 x 800.
I've therefore deleted R0.51 and installed R0.54 in the hope this will solve the problem, but have come up with another problem which means I can't check the wrapper issue.
Installation appeared to go fine. New user created in Joomla appears in the Joomdle 'Users' list in Joomla and also in the Moodle user list. But single sign on refuses to function in any browser:
- User logs into Joomla but remains logged out of Moodle.
- although the user is listed in Moodle, any user using the Joomdle authentication method cannot login, either in the wrapper of directly in Moodle. There are no error messages, it simply refreshes to the login screen.
System check is all green ticks. I've attached a screen capture of my settings.
Any ideas? - I have spent about a day trying to work out why this is happening and can't find an answer!
Thanks
Eric

Hi there,
Unfortunately, there is not sufficient information for me to turn left or right.
Is content pulled from Moodle into Joomla correctly?
When the user logs into Joomla and proceeds to the course, what does he see? The user Moodle profile page? Moodle home as guest? The course details as Guest?
During installation and troubleshooting, we tend to use many ids. Have you ensured that you are using different browsers for both the student and admin. Ie say chrome for student, FF for admin or similar?

Hi Chris, thanks for the reply and my apologies if I haven't been clear.
The URL is: 89.145.85.11/~tbwp2010
Username: test
Password: test
When the user logs into Joomla they are redirected to another Joomla page - where you choose 'OnetoOne+' which is the Moodle section - this takes you to the Joomdle wrapper, Moodle home page. But user is not logged into Moodle.
If I bypass Joomla and go directly to Moodle, (same URL, /moodle), this login does not work at the moodle login page. BUT If, in Moodle admin, I change this users authentication from Joomdle to 'Email based self-registration' then they can login in fine.
I conclude therefore that for some reason the Joomdle authentication is not being accepted at login. Would it help if I PM you and send you admin access to the system? If so please give mean email.

Hi Chris
Have you been able to look any further at this problem. I have tried everything I can think of and still cannot get SSO to work. When a new user registers in Joomla the Moodle account is being correctly created, but still cannot login to Moodle.
