Joomla and Moodle user sync not working properly

I am registerign a user in Joomla's registration page. I did synch of Moodle and Joomla users.
I am usign Joomla 1.5.23 and Moodle 2.0,Joomdle 0.53

In Joomdle 0.53, whenever i am creatign a user in Joomla registration page, only his / her username is copied in to the Moodle user's list and the other fields are left as "blank". In Joomdle 0.52 also makes every field values as '<' a less than symbol and only his username is properly copied.

Please help me out to resolve this issue. For more details pls see the screen shot.

Where are you expecting the first name and surname to come from? Joomla does not capture this information thus in Joomdle you have the option of integrating with CB or Jomsocial. Pls ensure one of these are installed and then configure your joomdle with that extension.

Thanks for the information. Now i installed Jomsocial and configured with Joomdle, it works only for the fields firstname and email address but the other fields namely surname, city and country are blank only (mandatory fields in moodle). How to add these fields in joomla registration screen and automatically populate the entered values in Moodle ?

You will need to map the fields between jomsocial and moodle.

After doing column mapping, a new issue i got i.e. the email is also not getting stored.

The firstname, surname, city all are empty. Only username field has values.

Pls advise.

Ensure:
- everything is green in the system health check
- you have configured joomdle to integrate with jomsocial
- mapped fields
- registered the user using jomsocial and the information exists in jomsocial
