[Closed] Single Sign On has stopped working - HELP! #1
I've been working on this site for weeks, and now shortly before we go live the SSO has started causing problems! After installation I created dummy accounts and checked that login/logout worked, both using the joomla and the moodle login. Now I'm finding the following major problems (help!):
1. In Firefox, using Joomla login successfully logs user into and out of Moodle. Using Moodle login DOES log user into Joomla BUT the screen has to be refreshed for this to display (and for user menus etc to appear).
In Internet Explorer 8: SSO does not appear to be working at all.
The URL is: 89.145.85.11/~tbwp2010 k (user: sventest pass: test)
The Moodle area is at: 89.145.85.11/~tbwp2010/index.php?option=...ew=wrapper&Itemid=68 k (called OnetoOne Learning Zone in the Joomla menu).
Any ideas?
Thanks very much
Eric
p.s here's a screen capture of my Moodle settings below.

This topic can be closed. It wasn't a Joomdle issue at all. It was a Moodle 2 authentication issue. Sorry, should have checked before posting!

Hi Eric, would you mind posting the Moodle authentication issue that you needed to change so that you didn't need to refresh the browser? I'm having the same issue.
I'm also getting a server error when I try to log out through Moodle. I suspect this is also related to a Moodle setting since manually-created users log out fine; only JomSocial/Joomdle created users get the server error.

If it's any help, deleting the 'sessions' folder in the moodledata folder, plus making sure your permissions are ok (set to 777) may help. Unfortunately - see my other post - I am continuing to get sign on issues with the Joomdle authorisation, so this may not solve your problem. Good luck!

Thanks Eric, tried that but no luck. Same issue. LogOut produces a Server Error even though the logout works fine (but as you've seen, the screen needs to be refreshed after the server error pops up in the Moodle wrapper.)
I'm pretty much convinced that it has something to do with the Joomdle authentication plugin for Moodle users since the error doesn't happen for manual or email Moodle users, and the same error pops up whether I'm logging in from within the Joomla Moodle wrapper or directly from standalone Moodle. If I set default authentication for a user from Joomdle back to email or manual, the login works fine.
So, something in the Moodle logout/login process for Joomdle-authenticated users is not 100% right. Can't figure it out for the life of me.
Same thing going in. If I go straight to the E-Learning page through JomSocial, the user won't be signed in. But if I visit a course, then go back to enter the E-learning page through the same JomSocial tab link, it logs in correctly the second time. Weird.
If I find something that works I'll be sure to post. Cheers, JP.
