Something is wrong with Joomdle Web Services setup was created by Phil
first off, this looks like an amazing extension to Joomla and Moodle, thanks for developing it guys! I just hope I can get it working!
I'm getting this error when running system check, all other systems are ok, its just with 'joomla web services':
"Something is wrong with Joomdle Web Services setup"
I have executed the following in the database as advised in www.joomdle.com/wiki/System_health_check...e_Web_Services_setup :
delete from mdl_config_plugins where plugin like '%joomdle%';
delete from mdl_mnet_host2service where hostid=0 and serviceid=4;
drop table mdl_joomdle_dummytable
But when I revisit the notifications area nothing happens. Screen: d.pr/qYp9
Any ideas?

If nothing happens when you visit the notifications page then I would:
- leave joomdle installed in joomla
- un-install joomdle from moodle
- visit notifications page to ensure all are updated
- re-install joomdle in moodle
- visit notifications page and check for errors / updates
Also if you still have the problems, pls include the versions of your applications.

Hi Chris, thanks for your help
I have tried removing joomlde from moodle by doing the following:
"To uninstall Joomdle from Moodle, just remove the Joomdle directory from the moodle/auth folder, and visit Notifications page in Moodle."
However, after removing joomdle from the auth folder nothing happens when returning to the notifications page.
And now when i return to the 'manage authentification' page in admin i get this error:
"Authentication plugin 'joomdle' not found."
Sorry, I should have included versions initially, here they are:
Moodle 1.9.7+ (Build: 20100303)
Joomla Version 1.5.23
Joomdle 0.54

Just installed a new version of Moodle 1.9, installed auth/Joomdle to ensure all working OK. Then removed auth/joomdle visited notifications and went to manage authentication and all OK. Then re-installed auth/joomdle visited notifications, configured joomdle, visited manage authentication - still ok. Played with combinations, removed database entries and cannot reproduce your error.
Clearly, something thinks joomdle is still there when it is not.
I am running a later version of - Moodle 1.9.9+ and do not know of the differences, so I cannot comment if there could be differences between how the two work.
At this point, I am not sure what else I can saw on your currently installation. Personally, I would install a test moodle in another directory and hook it up. If it works than it is particular to the origin Moodle. Maybe try 1.9.9. IF it doesn't than at least we can start to narrow down the issue.

Hi Chris, very strange indeed,
I'll try a clean install in a different directory and see what the differences are.
Thanks for your help, I hope I can get this working ...such an awesome concept!
