[Solved] Joomdle web services not work was created by adamtong
I am running well the Joomdle in my server before. However, after i move it to another server. the Joomdle web services did not work. I have read the wiki and try all the things to solve it but still fail.
I try re-install joomdle in both joomla and moodle as well.
However, I have tested it and seems the moodle has connected with Joomla and jomsocial. If I use "my course" menu or "my course" modules, they can get the values from Moodle correctly. The only problem seems to be the "Moodle Wrapper" didn't work.
When I go to "Moodle Wrapper" link (index.php?option=com_joomdle&view=wrapper),
it will redirect me to login link (index.php?option=com_user&view=login).
see the printscreen:

Oh...I find the problem is that the "SSO" single sign-on doesn't work.
After I remove the "components/com_joomdle/views/wrapper/getout_login.php" in Moodle Authentication Alternate login URL, the "Moodle wrapper" link will not redirect to Joomla Login link but instead show the moodle login page.
How to solve the SSO problem?
Thank you in advance

The first thing I would be looking at is what is different between the two servers. IP address? Also what version of Joomdle and Moodle are you using?

for IP, the previous one is public IP, now it is private IP.
I have entered the IP in the joomdle plugin as in the wiki.
I am using Joomdle 0.54 before and after re-install, i use Joomdle0.6. but both version has the same problem.
I am using Moodle 2.1 and Joomla 1.5.23

Thanks. Given the IP address has changed, it is likely to the cause of the problem.
So the questions to ask are:
- Can the servers talk to each other over this private IP? The routers, etc. could be blocking the connection from happening
- Some times when a private address is used, there is still a public one associated with it.
Are you able to share the new IP address? You can send it to development@joomdle.com if you do not wish to display it in the open.
