[Solved] user names crossing

Hi.

This last info about changing user on logging points to a Joomdle problem, instead of Moodle's.

I tried to replicate your scenario with current code, and the problems does not happen:
- Created 2 accounts, with usernames "abc" and "abc def".
- When I log in trough Joomla with "abc def", and go to Moodle, I am correclty logged in as "abc def"

So, first thing I would do is to update to Joomdle R0.6, to see if that solves the problem.

You no longer need to do that. You can install Joomdle on Joomla over existing one, and it will respect your configuration.

On Moodle side, just replace moodle folder by new one. Config is also kept.

If I had concerns about upgrading, I would set up a local copy first to try to replicate the problem with a clean joomla/moodle/joomdle 0.52 install, and then upgrading it to 0.6 to see if it solves the problem.
This way you get to test the upgrade and can know beforehand if it is going to really solve your problem.

As I cannot replicate the problem, maybe there is something we are doing differently.

I log into Joomla, then open another window and manually open Moodle. Are you using any links to reach Moodle?

As for the X: I think this may come from a user creation made when configuration was not complete.

Can you test doing like i do? Directly opening a window without using any links, to see if you get the same behaviour.
