[Closed] Enable SSO for users only in a certain Group #1
Hi,
First of all, thanks for a great component.
Please I would like to know if it is possible for only certain user groups to be able to log into moodle? I offer offline and online classes and want only those that specifically requested and paid for online classes (and belong to a particular group) to be able to log in.
Thanks in advance!

Hi.
You can do that using any of the supported profile types extensions (jomsocial, ambra, jspt).
Then you can select which profile types should be created in Moodle.

Thanks for the reply Antonio. The profile types listed under Joomdle are Jomsocial and XPT none of which I have installed (they are both commercial extensions. Please how do I go about this?
Thanks for all your help.

There is currently no other way, as joomla groups are not supported for this task.
Only way I can think of is to set "auto create moodle users" to no, and then manually migrate any user you want (I guess you already need to manually assign the person to the group you want).

Thanks Antonio. I actually got what I wanted to using joomdle and also jfusion. That way I could specify my user group and jfusion only created moodle access for that group.
Thanks for your help!
