Integration is good, but not always #1
Hello guys,
I have been using joomdle for some times and I know it is very sophisticated and great. We cannot even compare it with some other systems like jfusion.
but sometimes I find it quite confusing for my members.
for example
if the members go directly to moodle and try to log in, they can log in successfully but they are immidiately sent to joomla page (joomdle component) and again they should find the course and click on it to go back to moodle.
So is this a bug in my system or it is a part of your integration policy. I can be quite confusing for my members, they already know that moodle site is something else and they directly go there but when they log in or log out they come back to joomla. I think this is not good.
however, if they log into joomla and when they go to moodle and they see they are logged in is great and it is necessary. But not the other side way.
any suggestion for this one?

Hi.
This must be a proble with your site/version, as Joomdle by default does not do that.
When you log in to Moodle, you stay in Moodle.
As for log out: yes, it redirects to joomla site, as it's considered the "main site".

Yes, I was using Joomdle 1.6 with joomla 1.5.23 and moodle 2
Do you recommend upgrading to joomla 1.7 ? what is the best joomdle version for it.
thanks,

No, upgrading to J1.7 is up to you, that will depend on your needs.
As for the login redirect: maybe you have configured something in joomla to redirect to home site after logging in? Check your user plugins, disabling them to see if that changes anything.
