Hi all,
Have installed:
Joomla 1.5
Moodle 1.9
Joomdle 0.6
When browser points at the root of the install and should show the joomla page I get:

The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded.(Firefox)tho it does show the page
The address is not valid (ie)

I guess this is something to do with the wrapper but everything looks ok and I have checked the path from moodle.

Many thanks

Hi there,

I am a little confused. You say everything looks OK. Does this mean you are still having a problem?

What is the URL / page you are trying to display? Is this after logging in or before? Is this after clicking on a particular link?

Regards

Hi there,

Still having problem - the broswer is pointing at the joomla (or joomdle) landing page, in ie it does not load at all, in Firefox it displays an alert box: The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded. but then does actually display the page.

This is the page: www.pinkmayhem-sites.co.uk/joomdle/

Not logged in.

Many thanks

Hi sorry. Still confused about what you are trying to do. Typically Joomdle doesnt have a landing page.

You should be installing Joomla and you normally do. Install the Joomdle extension and configure. Creating new menu items to various views that Joomdle provides.

It looks like you have installed joomla in a directory called joomdle - which would be weird in my opinion. On the left, you have menu items that have no links? Also, I did not see any error message nor where you were trying to set up content inside a wrapper using joomdle??

Hi there,

It' in a joomdle directory as I am testing it.

I have not added any content yet as I want to get this to work first.

I found this: forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?p=2591663

I have disabled the wrapper module and am not getting an error message - any idea if this is going to cause a problem down the line?

Many thanks

Hi.

As Chris says, it is difficult to understand your problem.
Can you tell us which link is causing it?

I tested the wrapper and it seems to work fine:
www.pinkmayhem-sites.co.uk/joomdle/index...joomdle&view=wrapper

Also, you say you have not added any content. Do you mean you have not added any Moodle course content? If so, you will need to have at least some test course content in Moodle otherwise there is nothing for Joomdle to pull through. This will certainly cause problems.
