Okay..Me too! I am getting the 7021 error.

Specs:
Joomla 1.5.23
Moodle 1.9.x
Joomdle .6
Virtuemart 1.1.9

My IP address is valid, but it still will not connect. I have read through all the forum postings and tried them all and checked all my settings. Everything seems to be in order.
I am happy to PM you to have you look. I have a simple topics course setup. I have a teacher assigned to it.

Anything else I can try?

This error can only mean that the IP is not allowed.

So, re-check you entered joomla IP in xmlrpc hosts in Moodle.
If that does not work, try adding 0.0.0.0/0 so you can find out the real IP being used, showed on joomdle system check.

Wow...That was weird but yes, it (0.0.0.0/0) showed a different IP as 174.132.115.226
the Public IP is this: 174.132.115.230

Is this some sort of Host-wide NAT (Network address translation)? If so, what do I tell the host do for us so we can get this to work?

Thanks again. - getting closer.

Eric

What happens when you enter 174.132.115.226? Do you get any error messages?

Ha! Funny you should ask. On the Moodle networking, I get a 'Valid' IP address. On the Joomla "System Check" I get a red X and an Invalid IP. Simply NO connection.

It HAS to be the host. Now, the .230 address is considered the Dedicated IP. We also DO have an SSL installed, if that means anything.

This is really weird.
