[Closed] Moodle Student Activity Reports - Joomdle Connector was created by Paul Masson
Joomdle,
I am hoping you can tell me I am wrong.
My setup is Joomla 1.5.23 Moodle 2.0.4+ and Joomdle 0.6
I recently upgraded to Moodle 2.0 (I'll leave out the headaches involved) and in reviewing the Moodle reports I see 'Joomdle Connector'.
Will all students using Moodle through Joomdle be reported in Moodle as user 'Joomdle Connector'?
Please tell me I am wrong.
Paul

You will be happy to hear that this statement would in fact be incorrect.
The 'Joomdle Connector' or whatever you wish to call it, is just a user id to give Joomdle permissions to link up with Moodle. Registered users in Joomla, who are enrolled in Moodle courses, will still be registered in moodle using their own personal details. Thus the options to synchronise with CB or Jomsocial.
Out of curiosity, when you say reviewing "Moodle reports" do you mean, here in the Joomdle forum or wiki, or are you finding reports in Moodle using the phrase "Joomdle connector"?
Thanks

Chris,
Thanks for your response.
I did some further testing and found out that I was indeed wrong.
The Moodle Statistics reports list the Joomdle Connector account. The more specific Activity reports and such, where you select role types, will weed it out.
Pardon my moment of panic.
