Problems in installing joomdle 0.6

I already have joomla 1.5 22 installed and would like to install joomdle 0.6 but i got;Error! Could not find an XML setup file in the package.thank you.

You will need to unzip the file and locate the joomdle install package. There are a number of files inside the main zip file. You may wish to visit the joomdle documentation wiki for the installation instructions.

thank you thank you it works but I got another big problem I can't connect to my home page
(Fatal error: Call to undefined function xmlrpc_encode_request() in /home/content/10/5198410/html/ecole/administrator/components/com_joomdle/helpers/content.php on line 76)
so I removed joomdle.Please I need your help.

Do you have php's xml-rpc libraries loaded and enabled?

Assuming this is the problem, you will need to speak with your hosting provider to ensure that PHP's XML-RPC is installed. That said, you can check yourself to confirm first by following the installation instructions here

By the sounds of it you don't have the libraries loaded as you can see from the above link.

I suggest you speak with your hosting provider to ask if they can load the libraries. Who is your provider?

My provider is godaddy.

OK than confirmed. Godaddy doesn't support XML-RPC in a shared hosting environment.

Your choices are not to use Joomdle or any other application that requires XML-RPC, get a dedicated server from godaddy or switch hosting providers.
