How to turn off email authentication?

Hi,
I'm using Joomla 1.7, Moodle 1.9.x. I've installed and configured Joomdle with a PayPal checkout option. Everything is working great EXCEPT I want to turn off the email authentication. I want users to click on a course, create an account, pay for it and go directly to the course without having to confirm via email.

In Moodle, I've disabled e-mail based self-registration.
In Joomdle, I've checked the option to auto-login users.

BUT I'm still getting the automated email confirmation message:

A new account has been requested at 'demo lms'
using your email address.

To confirm your new account, please go to this web address:

Any ideas on how to disable this?

Hi Sherri.

I think you need to change "New User Account Activation" parameter to None, in Joomla backend, Users -> Options.

EDIT: I just tested with auto-login on registration enabled, and I got an error. I think this feature has not been tested yet on 1.7. Will update with more info when I can test more.

Yes, I'd changed that setting as well, but the email confirmation is still firing.

That's weird: I just did that test, and it did not send any emails, and let me log in right away.
Are you using normal joomla registration?
