[Solved] Incorrect user logged into Joomla!

Hi,

I have installed and configured joomdle.

I can create a user in moodle and that user is automatically created in Joomla.

The problem is that when I log in as that user through moodle the single sigh on system logs in as another user in Joomla!. If anyone can point out some checks I could make on this I would be grateful.

The versions are as follow:
Joomla 1.5.24
Moodle 2.1
Joomdle 0.6

Which user does it log you with?
Make sure you are not logged as admin on another window: use different browsers for admin and user access.

It logs in using the first user created via moodle.

I will carry out some more tests and try installing on a different server as well to ensure there are no browser issues etc.

Otherwise you tried? Create the user in joomla. Also see if Joomdle users in joomla component are synchronized, indicated by the green signal.

If I create an account via Joomla, I can log into Joomla and I am automatically logged into Moodle.

If I create an account via Moodle. I can log into Joomla and I am automatically logged into Moodle.

However,

If I log into Moodle using either account then I am logged into Moodle but not logged into Joomla automatically and get the following message:

"Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet."

Then users can access Moodle without joomla? You could centralize and use registers and access joomla. Then your problem would be solved.

When I last tried single sign on the users where able to log into Moodle and although the user was also logged into Joomla automatically it was with different Joomla credentials.

The problem now seems to be worse because users logging in through Moodle are not being logged into Joomla at all. I am going to setup a fresh install of Joomla and Moodle locally to see if the problem is linked to the live web server or maybe something I have done to upset it.

I am locked into Joomla 1.5 at present but if anyone else is using Joomla 1.5 maybe they could confirm the version of Joomdle and Moodle they have working as I am able to change the version of Moodle at this point.

I can confirm that current Joomdle version should work on logging you into Joomla 1.5 when you log into Moodle.
If it is not working, there might be some problem specific to your installation.
