hi

i have my site set up but cannot get joomla to sync with moodle automatically. I have all the setting set to yes. it will sync manually.

Moodel will sysnc with joomla ie edit a user in moddle and it updates joomla but not the other way around

i an using curl

my joomla side is on a main domain www.maindomain.co.uk and my moodle install is on a subdomain subdomain.maindomain.co.uk, any help would be much appreciated.

yes all system checks are fine, i have been over all the setting a few times and evreything is as it should be.

could it be an issue witht the sub directory, this seems to have caused a few issues for some people

yes, it could be, if you are using "domain to folder" redirection (not sure how this is called/how it works) this might be the problem.

hi

i am still having problems with this, i did a fresh install of moodle as below

www.maindomain.co.uk
www.maindomain.co.uk/moodle

this worked fine except again no automatic syncing of enrollemts between the systems, i have all green lights on system check i can again manually syns to moodle and this works.


any help appreciated,

i am using rochen as my host could it be something to do with a setting on the server!!

Ok if I register a new user in joomla it is not automatically registering then in moodle.

I have all green in system check

It will work if you manually sync the two in the joomla backend but I need to use sso for my client

I have followed all the install instruction and double checked all the settings

I am assuming it is an issue with the joomla part of the install as moodle is working fine

I guess you have checked "auto create moodle users" on joomdle configuration.
Have you selected any profile types integration?

Yes all setting set to auto

Profile is set to none as per another thread with the same issue but still not working.

Joomla and moodle are obviously connected its just joomla side that's causing the issue
