Hi.

Moodle installed and running

Installing the 0.7 zip and get the "JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file" error. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Two issues:
The first is that relating to the question you have asked. Have you unzipped the file? The downloadable zip file needs unzipping first. You will be given a few folders one with the components, etc.

Second issue: If you are on a shared Godaddy server, you are likely to get stuck along the way as Godaddy doesn't support XML-RPC on their shared servers. They may have changed this since I was updated.

Doh! I really need to do less and focus more. THANKS!

For the XML-RPC at GoDaddy, you are correct. On shared hosts they do NOT use XML-RPC (found that out as I was hacking and slaying through all this). Thanks for the thought on that too.

Cheers!
