Moodle/Joomdle Theme plus integration

I have a Joomla website with a sample course in moodle which I want to link to direct from a menu in Joomla. However, when I create a a menu option within Joomla none of the options for a joomdle menu type seem to be appropriate. The closest option seems to be "wrapper" but this then shows all the moodle navigation and header stuff and I don't really want this to appear in the wrapper. I simply want it to start the demo course directly from the menu.

Any ideas the best way to achieve this?

Thanks! :cheer:

Hi.

For this you would need to modify your Moodle template, so that it does not show navigation, etc.

Thanks for the reply Antonio!

So having a wrapper would be the way to do it?

Within Moodle I have managed to get the navigation stripped down as much as possible but it seems a bit clunky to actually start the course.

Firstly there is the intro text where you have to click "enter" to continue. Next the course launch page appears and I have to click the launch button to start the course in a pop-up window. Is there a way I can launch the course without all the extra screens in-between?

You can see what I mean about the clunky operation here:
empowered2train.co.uk/index.php?option=c...ew=wrapper&Itemid=22

Also the Moodle breadcrumbs appear at the top of each page too (within the wrapper). Is there a way of hiding these?

Thanks for the help and advice!

Yes, a wrapper is the way to do.

As for your specific example, I see you are using SCORM. I have never tried SCORM, so I don't know how it works, but I guess it will show the same from within moodle...

Moodle breadcrums: you can remove them from the template (don't know where, as I have not done it myself)
