[Closed] Joomdle on Joomla 1.7.3 installtion problems

I installed the joomdle on moodle 2.0 successfully through following the instructions, but couldn't find the documentation for Joomla 1.7.3 installation, so I follow the instructions for joomla 1.5, however, I have a some problems so far:

1. Couldn't find the 'enable web service' option at Site->Global Confirguration ->System.
2. Without enable the web service, I go ahead install the joomdle-joomla-package.zip through the Extension Manager. however, an error occurred: error building admin menu (the second time to install. the first time I tried to install the joomdle -joomla-package.zip, gave me an installer and XML error)

what did I do wrong, is there Joomla 1.7 installation instructions?

I'm also getting in Joomla 1.7.3 the same installation error about not being able to build Admin menu. Looks like it partially installed when I have a look at the tables in Joomla. Does anyone know how to uninstall the whole application, and restart the installation process?

For problem 1. This was required for J 1.5. For J1.7 this option has been removed from Joomla.

Your second problem, sounds like the generic Joomla problem that has been reported in the Joomla forums. At this time, I cannot recall the exact resolution- it was either cleaning some of the tables in the database or re-installing. There was another post in this forum about this that you can search for too. I believe Antonio answered the post.
