How to install Joomdle for Joomla 2.5.1

Hi, I am using Joomla 2.5.1 for creating a site. I want to integrate Joomdle also but I am unable to find any installation guide in the forum, though I found it for Joomla 1.5. Can I please get the installation guide for installing Joomdle in Joomla 2.5.1

I have done exactly as the installation guilde for joomla 1.7

I edited the wiki, to make it clear instructions are not for 1.5 only. If you see any other place where it says that, please let me know.

Thanks for the reply. I followed this link www.joomdle.com/wiki/Prerequisites for installation but I am unable to find "Enable web service" option in the System Setting of Global configuration .

Check the docs now, I fixed it yesterday, so that it's clear that that setting is not needed in 1.6 onwards.

Hi! I followed all the instructions of the documents. But I am unable to find any "Enable Web Services " options in Site -> Global System Configuration, System Tab, System Configuration. Because of this I am unable to follow other steps required for installation.I have attached the screen shot. Please help me.

As Antonio has stated, this is only for Joomla 1.5. This option does not exist for J1.6+. This is reflected in the wiki documentation.

Hola... tengo un pequeño problema con joomdle y no se que hacer ojala me puedan orientar.

lo que pasa es lo siguiente:

ya configure todo tanto en joomla como en moodle e instale el componente y todo parece bien pero cuando le pido ver los usuarios me saca el siguiente error:

XML-RPC Error (620): Method "joomdle_check_moodle_users" does not exist

y para los cursos

XML-RPC Error (620): Method "joomdle_list_courses" does not exist

los demas tabs funcionan aparentemente bien, por lo menos no saca errores.

revise en la parte de la comprobacion del sistema y dice:

servicios web de joomdle no estan disponibles...

encontre esto: www.joomdle.com/wiki/System_health_check en donde dice que debo habilitar los web services para joomla pero no puedo hacerlo para el 2,5 o por lo menos no encuentro como.... :dry:

Parece que te falta el paso de añadir las funciones al servicio en Moodle.

si, efectivamente eran las funciones de joomdle...

a quien le pueda interesar:

mi problema fue que cuando inclui los archivos de joomdle en la carpeta auth entre a notificaciones pero no le di upgrade por eso cuando fui a importar las funciones solo aparecian las de moodle....instale esas y no las de joomdle.
