SEEKING - Information/Example of Joomla integration of singl was created by PRADEEP LAWRANCE
We are in the process of integrating our website(joomla), and our Moodle LMS (SSO). We have found that "joomdle" plugin, for SSO with joomla and moodle. We would like to know if there are any one else who has done this integration. We would like to find out if you have encountered any issues with this integration? We would like to find out what concerns we should look for and what integration issues we should be careful with. other than that if you have any other suggestion, we do appreciate it.
Any one can assist us with this, we would be most appreciative.

This entire site is for Joomla and Moodle integration, so I would say it is safe to say that at least a few people have done it
In other words I doubt the thousands of downloads of Joomdle are just for fun and that people are actively using Joomdle.
In terms of installation issues and questions, this forum is pretty much about getting help. Whether it be because of a problem, a configuration understand or a feature.
To best offer advise, can you be more specific about what type of advise you are looking for?

Chris,
We need to see how to work the code for single sign on from joomla to moodle, as we had stated in our post. We are hosting out website on a secure server at an ISP, so this is our concern. Also, we want to know if you or anyone has encountered any integration issues with this? You are correct that this site is about the integration of the two, but as we all know, until we see it work, it can be an issue. So we ask.
If you can offer us advice on this, it would be most beneficial.
Also, beyond Single-Sign on what other forms of integration can the two programs do? Have you done them and what? What other capabilities can be tapped? We are trying to integrate multiple things and if we can do them through Moodle, the most beneficial for us. For example, we want to be able to take our lunch menu and be able to take the order online. If we can do this through Moodle, then that would be the best. Can you offer any insights to this?
Let us know. Any and all advice is most appreciated.

Hi again, it appears that Joomdle is quite new to you and your team. I think the best place to start would be to look at the documentation wiki and look through the user guide. Most of the features are documented there and to place them here would be a repetition of information.
As for your site being at a secure server, how do you gain access? Since it is at an ISP, it must accessible somehow to your users. As such I see no reason why you cannot have Joomla and Moodle talking too.
With regards to integration issues, that is a massive question. As said this forum is all about people seeking assistance. Most of the issues are related to the configuration of Moodle and Joomla. Joomdle integrates to both of them and thus relies on their configuration.
Finally, after reading the user guide, you may wish to download Joomdle and have a quick play.
Do note. That are demo site will be back online shortly - perhaps a week or two from now as we are in the final stages of testing it.
