Another Failed Install

Have you guys located the problem installing your latest version in a Joomla 2.5.1 installation?
I've searched the forum and found this same issue, but ultimately the guy who posted discovered that GoDaddy didn't support XML RPC.

That's not the case with my host (Hostgator). I verified XML RPC support.

Also, I went through the installation steps without problem until it came time to install joomdle-joomla-package.zip.

Results:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method JXMLElement::getElementByPath() in /home/tamiw/public_html/romleyuniversity.com/administrator/components/com_joomdle/install/install.php on line 60

You seem to be installing 1.5 version on a 2.5 site.
Download and install 1.6./1.7/2.5 package.

I downloaded the most recent release. Is that not the correct package?

There are 2 different "most recent" packages: one for J1.5 and one for J.16/1.7/2.5

Ah.
So I got the correct package and attempted install;
First I got a missing XML error message.
So I tried again.
(I know. It's like pushing an already lighted elevator button...)
Anyway, I took a screenshot of the second error message.
And there is no "Joomdle" component showing in the list.

This is a known Joomla issue. Try this:
