[Closed] Unable to sync users between joomla & moodle was created by lightningbit
Hi,
my setup :
- Joomla 1.5.15
- Moodle 2.2.1
- both installed in the same domain (joomla in www.mydomain.com and moodle in www.mydomain.com/elearning )
- JoomDLE installed in joomla and moodle according to the instructions (I hope I didn't miss anything)
Behaviour I'm experiencing :
when going to the users list in the joomdle component, I cannot select users to migrate/sync them to moodle (see attachment)
however, when I create a joomlauser, it is automatically created in moodle (test user)
So I tried to create one of those users manually in moodle, and then try to sync them (user id 63 in the image) but did not make any improvements.
So I'm not sure if this is expected behaviour, or if I should be able to sync those users
note: userid's 62, 63, 64, 65, 66 are superadministrator in Joomla, does that have anything to do with it?
Thanks
LB

Hi.
Yes, this is expected behaviour.
We made it so you can't migrate admin users to Joomdle auth, as any problems in the process may lock you out from Joomla and/or Moodle.
Joomdle offers no features for admin users, so at the moment we recommend that you use it only for nomal users, unless you have a good reason for doing otherwise.
If you still want to have some admin (I strongly recommend that not the main one) migrated, you can just remove him from admins, migrate him, and add him to admins again.
