Not sure what is happening.
Make sure you configured the right category ID in Joomdle, and go to that category in Hikashop to check if course products are being created.

Antonio,

I'm having the same problem using Joomla 2.5.4 and Hikashop Starter 1.5.7 with Joomdle 0.81

Courses in the Shop tab are enabled and I can see the courses in the "Joomdle Courses" block but unable to see the courses as products in Hikashop. I understand that Joomdle can read the information from moodle.

A category for the courses is created and linked to Joomdle also. System check all green.

First time I'm using Hikashop but I used Tienda and Virtuemart many times and always get the course as product when created in moodle. I don't know if there are something more to add to the Hikashop installation than other shops.

Thanks

Did you go to joomdle backend->shop and create the products for the courses you want?

Antonio,

no, I didn't create the products because I understand that are created automatically when synchronized from moodle.

The Joomdle courses module shows the courses. If I click in one of them, the detail view shows the the "Buy Course" and then take me to Hikashop product view and I can start the checkout process.

So do you mean I need to create manually the courses as Hikashop's products ?

No, not manually in hikashop, but you need to create them.

Go to Joomdle backend->shop, and just click on the buttons to create the products in Hikashop.
Here you have the docs:

I have 2 courses for testing and both are enabled in the shop tab.

In fact, the process works if I start from Joomdle (Joomdle courses module, course list menu, courses by category, ...). All these take me to Hikashop and I can buy the course.

But Hikashop that don't show the courses in its product list.

Do you see the product in hikashop backend? You should, if you say all works fine if starting from Joomdle.

In front end, make sure you selected the right category for the menu item. To test, create a normal product by hand in hikashop, and see if this one shows up.

I added a Hikashop Category Listing to the main menu and then could see the category with only 1 course without price when it has price.

Checked the courses again in moodle and noticed that the course appeared was the first in the moodle courses list, so just changed the order.

Reloaded the courses in the Joomdle shop tab, once again, and got both courses in Joomdle with its right price.

No idea what happened but really weird.

I did another test and the synchronization fails again.

I add a new course to moodle, add Joomdle as enrollment method and price 99US$

Go to Joomdle shop tab and enable the course

In Hikashop I can see the course but at price 0

Go to the shop tab again, reload the course from moodle and then get thr right price.

So I guess there are some problem in the course synchronization between Hikashop and Joomdle
