Open Moodle links in "New Window" Issue

Hi,

Firstly, thank you so much for your amazing software. I am new to Joomla, but an avid Moodler, and to be able to combine the two is amazing. I currently have Moodle 2.2, Joomla 2.5, Joomdle R0.81.

The issue at hand is that I have tried every single way of re-configuring options, clearing browser caches, and many others to get the field in the Joomdle "configuration settings" under "links behavior" to open my moodle course links from Joomla into another window because my moodle site is full screen and my Joomla is not. Any assistance would be great, I tried to find the code in the files to see if their was a simple fix, but everything looked okay from my knowledge, now I am baffled.

I am sorry but I did not understand your problem: if you set configuration to open in new window, what does it happen?

Yes, my setting is set to "open moodle links in New Window", except that it stays in the current window over top of the joomla site. I need it to open a new window for links that go to the moodle site and I can not figure out why it won't. Thanks, hope that clarifies.

Sorry Brian, still a little confused.

You say over top of the joomla site - this implies a new window. Is this what you mean?

Or do you mean it replaces the current joomla windows (ie current window)?

Do you have one or two windows? Are you able to attach screen shots?

1 window, it will not open into a new one.

I am sorry, but I don't know what the problem might be, as this is working fine in all my installations.

Only thing you could do is try to debug the code to see if there is something wrong.

Do you have the same problem in all links? ie: my courses view and my courses module.
