Open Moodle links in "New Window" not working in Course List

Hi:

I'm using Joomla 2.5.6; moodle 2.3; Joomdle 0.82

Part-1: NEW Window not working

Tried the following, in Joomdle Configuration:
1) Set, 'Open Moodle links' in "New Window"
2) Set, Go to course button "Moodle"
3) Published "Joomdle Courses" and "Joomdle My Courses" module to front page
4) When I click on links under "Joomdle My Courses", courses open in NEW window (Correct behavior)
5) When I click on links under "Joomdle Course", courses just open in the CURRENT window, thus replacing the parent window. (Incorrect behavior).

I have tried on different systems and I could NOT get "Joomdle Course" link to open in a NEW window.


Part-2: POP-up window instead of NEW window

I need to open courses in a POP-UP window instead of just a NEW window, so that I will have both my HOME web page and the pop-up page just for Moodle courses. This is to ensure consistency in user experience, since my moodle courses have quizzes and other activities (currently not supported in Joomdle wrapper).

To accomplish this, I have tried editing 'default.php' under 'mod_joomdle_my_courses\tmpl' by replacing

echo "<li><a $target href=\"".$redirect_url."\">".$curso."</a></li>";

with this line of code:

echo "<li><a href=\"".$redirect_url."\" onclick=\"window.open(this.href, 'targetWindow', ' '); return false;\">".$curso."</a></li>";

The above works for Joomdle My Courses, but how to get it to work for "Joomdle Courses"?
Can you please provide guidance on the following issues:

(a) If the NEW window is an issue, and
(b) Which file and what part of the code should I be looking at to get the pop-up window code inserted?
(Is it ok for me to change your code?)

1) Thanks for the bug report. I tested and can confirm the problem.
I will try to fix it for next release.

2) I think once 1) is solved, it will be easier to think about this.

Hi Antonio, has this issue been resolved? I can open the PDF files in a pop-up window in Moodle but not within Joomdle itself. Do you know why or how to fix it? Thanks!

It seems you are not talking about same thing as parent poster.
He was talking about opening courses from Joomdle modules, while it seems you talk about opening moodle course contents from Joomdle course view, right?
If that's the case, please open a new thread, describing the problem and your configuration.
