Hi,

We uploaded Joomla and Moodle in the same location in the machine having internal IP xx.xx.xx.xx on the external domain myexternaldom.com. Public IP for the external domain is yy.yy.yy.yy. We are using IIS webserver with MySQL database.

Joomla Location: xx.xx.xx.xx/Joomla
Moodle Location: xx.xx.xx.xx/Moodle

Joomdle plugin is installed as per the instruction given in the WIKI and tested the Joomdle system check. Every thing seems to be fine.

Moodle is launching Fine.

We tried to login into joomla's front end using the URL myexternaldom.com/Joomla. At that time the joomdle authentication is happening using the internal ip xx.xx.xx.xx and not using myexternaldom.com or Public IP yy.yy.yy.yy. Now what happens is we are not able to authenticate using this URL. But if we remove the internal IP xx.xx.xx.xx in the browser URL with myexternaldom.com and click enter then it is launching correctly.

Can you guys please provide the solution as soon as possible?

Sorry, I am not quite clear what you are seeking a solution for. As you said, when you remove the internal IP it works OK. Have you configured Moodle and Joomdle to use the external IP address to see if that works?
