Session Issue in Joomla and Moodle

Hi All, Would like abit of help on joomdle since Im very new to this,

I managed to install joomldle to moodle and joomla.

it works and works great ! but I found a small issue with the login session today, which is
say I have 2 tabs open in the browser with joomla and moodlw
if I login from joomla ill be logged in moodle as well - works great

I have a small banner in joomla which is shown after login which redirects to moodle, if you click on that the user session is not there, (user is not logged in moodle)

Is there anything Im missing here?

does your banner redirect to the same domain? remember www.mydomain.com is different than mydomain.com

yes its the same domain, if the joomla is myjoomla.com the moodle domain is myjoomla.com/lms/

Well unfortunately, there is not much information for us to go on.

If it logs in properly when using the joomla login but not when you click on the banner, it would suggest there is an issue with the banner url direction. The most typical issue is the one I provided above. If you provide the url of the domain and the banner I could made a quick click.
