Joomla Moodle connection was created by Chris
I have just installed moodle, joomla, and joomdle onto an Apache virtual server with the domain name of joomdle.test. The install seemed to go well without any obvious problems. When I get to the end of the install I get 3 errors on the system check page. The last 3 entries on that page have a red circle with an x in it and the following messages.
Joomla to Moodle HTTP connectivity Joomla cannot connect to Moodle
Moodle to Joomla HTTP connectivity Moodle cannot connect to Joomla
Joomdle Web Services Received empty response from Moodle
The URL for the Moodle site is www.joomdle.test/
The URL for the Joomla site is www.joomdle.test/joomla/
Versions:
Joomla v.3.1.5
Moodle v.2.5.2
Joomdle v.0.92
My server is Ubuntu with Virtualmin and I have not installed any other security software on it. I have installed the libraries that Joomle and Moodle require such as CD and cURL. I know there is a couple more but cannot remember their names right now. However, the bottom line is the server is unmodified other than a few libraries.
I have checked and corrected all the obvious stuff like missing the http at the beginning of the URL that I have found in other entries in this forum. I have noticed that the entries that I have read are for older versions of the software. So I am hoping that there is something simple that someone can help me with that is for the newer versions.
Thanks for your help.

It seems your joomla cannot talk to your moodle. Reasons can be many: DNS problems, security restrictions, etc.
