Joomdle source management

Hi guys

I hope you all are well.

We have a system where we make extensive use of vouchers/coupons via HikaShop to enrol users into courses. Our vouchers are available at retailers but we also supply to non-profit orgs who would like their certificates customized to include sponsors' and the organisation's logos etc.

I would like to try and avoid duplicating courses then restricting their vouchers to those courses since that would mean double the amount of administration when upgrading courseware (though this would work flawlessly)

The moodle certificate module allow for restrictions by profile field and groups. I guess the profile field restriction may be the better option, however I am not sure what I should do to make that a part of the registration process and if it is even possible.

Do you perhaps know of any what in which I may be able to strain out the different groups and have the system set the correct parameters so that I may issue them a certificate that is customised for the organisation that sponsored them?

In short, I need a way of controlling where users are from so that I may issue them the correct certificate.

Hi.

Not sure how moodle certificate customization works, but if you say you can make it dependant on profile fields, I guess you could get what you want:
- Add new field in Hikashop registration
- Map that field to a custom field in Moodle profile
- Use that custom field to differenciate certificates
