"having problem after uninstall, joomdle won't allow me to change the moodle version"
I am very confused by the above:
- If you have uninstalled Joomdle how do you expect to change the Joomdle configuration? Furthermore, why would you even care to change the configuration since Joomdle is not there?
- If you still have Joomdle installed, you change the configuration from the configuration panel. If it is not saving than this would suggest you have a permissions problem.
- If you really need to access the raw settings, the configuration values are stored in Joomla's extension table in the parameters field. However, I do not recommend you editing this directly as it is not so easy to follow.
Note: I have moved your post as there is no suggestion that your question is in any way related to the other post.

sorry to have confused you, i had originally installed moodle 1.9 with joomdle on my joomla test site and had all of it set up. i then moved the complete site to the production site. that is when i recieved errors that caused me to uninstall one module at a time till i found the culprit that was causing errors, (long story short version) when i uninstalled joomdle and tried to reinstall it would not let me edit its config. so my research has found that joomdle does not delete completely when using the joomla extension uninstall, i found all of the database entries still intact which i deleted, found that several files were still residing in it's almost empty directory which i then deleted, these were the culprits to my xml-prc errors as well. after deleting them and refreshing cache my site was error free. so now the dilemma is how to put joomdle back in and not have those errors because my site relies on having moodle tied into joomla, jom-social, and forums.

Glad to hear you have resolved all the errors. A few comments:
- Most Joomla extensions, when uninstalled, leave behind the database tables. I suspect this is the de facto practice for 80-90% of the extensions so that administrators do not need to re-configure if they are only uninstalling to re-install later. This is just something to be aware of.
- When uninstalling Joomdle, it should remove all of the Joomdle folders and files. If it did not, this suggests there is / was a problem with your server's permissions, setup, etc.
- When you copy over your Joomla + Moodle site from local to a server, the configuration will definitely need to change as the connectivity has changed. Joomdle is a little more complicated than the typical Joomla extension as it is connecting different platforms which may or may not be on the same server or domain. Any extension that leverages web servers, curl, xml-rpc, etc. would require a similar reconfiguration.
Your current dilemma .... If your server environment is 'clean' and the networking side of your environment allows Joomla to connect to Moodle, then simply install Joomdle, configure and go

blank screen is usually caused by a php fatal error. Check your logs for more info.

ok, since there is some confusion i will list what has been done so far, i had joomla set up on a test site in sub-directory of site it was to be implemented on the version was 3.1, moodle was installed version 1.9, jom-social installed as well, joomdle 0.92 release at time, and all was working well, moved it to new position on server after extensive testing made needed changes to config files for joomla, jom-social, moodle, and started receiving errors from xml-prc after deactivating and uninstalling mods and plugins it was found that joomdle was the culprit for my errors, so i unstalled it, after attempts to reinstall it and get everything back to working i found the database files and stray plugin files that didn't uninstall. i removed them to start fromm scratch with a fresh install of both moodle 2.0 and joomdle 0.93 on a now upgraded platform of joomla 3.20. moodle is set up correctly and followed your install guide to letter, got to the install of joomdle into joomla, activated plugin and it won't take the new config settings in the joomla joomdle component section, i inputed them in the settings at the system component portion and they show there but not under the component joomdle side. when i try to input them there the screen hangs and turns white and the setting will not save. also notice that with the component installed my front end is slow, this is why i asked where the config file is stored so i can check to see if there is a problem in the code or if the file is incomplete. with a site of over 800 files it is not easy to locate. so can you tell me where it is so i can investigate more or if you like contact me via message and i will give you access to site back end to investigate yourself. i need these components to work. any help will be appreciated.

The location of the Joomdle configuration settings was provided above in my first post, 3rd bullet point. As Antonio has mentioned, a blank screen is normally representative of a php error. You can check your server's error log for more details.
Also, now we understand that your problem lies with the upgrading of Joomla to 3.2 and Joomdle R0.93. As you know Joomla 3.2 is not even two weeks old so extensive testing has not yet been completed. You can see a number of posts reported in the forum that are specific to the changes in J3.2 that you may wish to check and implement.

Finally, to help narrow down your issue I suggest to disable all the Joomdle plugins and visit your configuration screen to ensure that is working as expected. Then configure your Moodle integration and then one by one enable only those plugins that you require as not all should be at the same time.
