Install Joomdle into Joomla! Failed. [solved] was created by Zy Danielson
I was following the instructions to install Joomdle from:
www.joomdle.com/wiki/Installation
. Everything went fine until step 4: Installing Joomdle in Joomla.
Please see the following attachments to show the problem:
Thanks in advance.

- What script needs to be modified, and how should it be changed?
- What do I do after the modification? Try loading the component again? Or will I have to uninstall and reinstall? (I sure hope it's not the latter, since I've been working on this for hours!)
Thanks in advance.

To be honest we rarely see an error message at install time of Joomdle in Joomla. Thus far the most common error is that the person chose the wrong Joomdle version for their Joomla or didn't unzip the Joomdle package. It does not look like this in your case.
What versions of Joomdle and Joomla are you using?
What version of WAMP are you using?
What are your php memory settings?
Note: Joomla 3.2.0 stable is only 1 month old and not many people have jumped to install it yet (or are not reporting it anyway). Those errors created with the J3.2.0 have been updated thus far - but it is possible that more will be found.

Disable Display Errors in PHP.ini and Joomdle will not show these messages.

@Chris: I found a new Joomla template I really love that was developed for J! 2.5, but also claims to be 3.x compatible. So I think I am going to delete everything and start over. I will pay careful attention to version numbers when I re-install, and will take your suggestions on my other thread as a guide. I like your approach.
@Fernando: I think I'll leave errors on during my re-install. If I see more errors this second time, I'll report them also. Then, if advised the errors aren't important, I'll happily turn Display Errors off. Thank you.
