Configuring Joomdle in Joomla : Moodle url not configured

Hi
Joomla 3.2.*, Joomdle 0.94 for Joomla 3

Running a system check, just after installation, I get;
'...Joomdle is not configured yet. Please fill Moodle URL setting in Configuration...'

So, dutifully I try to make sure ... and when I click the System Configuration button I get

'...SQL=SHOW FULL COLUMNS FROM `jane_joomdle_field_mappings`...'

Oh Dear. I've broken it. Help me mend it please! I'd be so grateful, SQL never was a strong point with me.....

Maybe installation was not completed succesfully? It might be that the tables were not created properly....
Did you install the joomdle package for Joomla 3?

I think you may well be right. I'll delete the installation and re-install - and double check that I install for joomla 3

OK,
Done that ( re-installed)
Now the System check reports that Moodle can't connect to Joomla via http (the other way round is fine) and Joomdle Web services get no response from Moodle.

Check that you properly set joomla url in joomdle auth plugin in moodle (remember to include http://)

Hard to know what to do next....

Are Joomla and Moodle on the same server?
If yes: it is weird, as connection should work both ways (at leat at HTTP level).
If no: for some reason, your moodle host cannot connect to your joomla host.
