XML-RPC Error (404): Unknown error

Hello,

I have installed joomdle, setup moodle in new site thesynapse.eu. However, when I am adding joomla users that have a "space" in their username I am getting this error: XML-RPC Error (404): Unknown error. I also get this error if a new user includes a "space" in their username on registering. We will be launching the site today and I have not fixed this yet. Gladly welcome any help. Thanks

I think Joomdle is not prepared to support usernames with spaces.

Do you know by any chance how I can change the joomla registration so it does not allow usernames with a space as I am finding it difficult to find answers to this problem? Currently with Joomdle installed users who are using spaces on registration are getting the same error.

I am thinking now that Joomdle should work fine with usernames with spaces, as long as Moodle allows it. I just tested in my J3.0 local test site, creating a user with a space in username, aend everything worked just fine.

Try enabling debugging in Moodle to get more info about the 404 error.
